I ljuset av ett ljus - In the light of a candle

I've never been into candles much, I think I simply used them when the electricity was cut off. But since I've been to Sweden, I've discovered other ways to use them and how they make you relax. It was Advent when I was there, and they turned on a couple of candles every day, but I never understood why since in Spain we don't pay too much attention to Advent and neither we turn on candles to celebrate it.

Actually, in Sweden, they turn on candles whenever they have the chance to do it, especially in the dark and long months of winter. Besides making your place warm, comfortable and cosy, they make it beautiful. There is nothing better than arriving at home after a long day of work, get some comfortable clothes, something to drink, get the place dark and turn on a couple of candles to relax. Well, actually there is a hot bath with candles. To finish, they prepare your house for Christmas and make you look forward to it even more.
